Built at the end of the 15th century, beginning of the 16th century, on a base dating from the second half of the 13th century, Bonaguil raises its colossal architecture on three layers of rock. A major site in Aquitaine, Bonaguil is an absolute model of a fortified castle, built with artillery fire in mind. In summer, the site comes alive with medieval workshops and shows (music, theater).

Open every day :
- March and October from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,
- April, May, June and September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
- July and August from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- from November to February, only during school holidays (all areas) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed December 25 and January 1.
No guided tours during winter.
Last entry possible 1 hour before the castle closes.
