Built at the end of the 15th century, beginning of the 16th century, on a base dating from the second half of the 13th century, Bonaguil raises its colossal architecture on three layers of rock. A major site in Aquitaine, Bonaguil is an absolute model of a fortified castle, built with artillery fire in mind. In summer, the site comes alive with medieval workshops and shows (music, theater).

Open every day:
- March and October from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm,
- April, May, June and September from 10 am to 6 pm,
- July and August from 10 am to 7 pm,
- November to February, only during school holidays (all zones) from 2 pm to 5 pm. Closed on December 25 and January 1.
No guided tours during the winter.
Last entry possible 1 hour before the castle closes.
